Depart Marrakech in the morning and travel through the High Atlas Mountains. Enjoy panoramic views and photo stops along the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest road pass in North Africa. Continue to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed site famous for its traditional earthen architecture and movie history. After free time to explore and lunch (not included), drive through Ouarzazate and the Rose Valley of Kalaat M’Gouna. Arrive in the Tinghir area in the evening. After breakfast, head to the spectacular Todra Gorge, where towering canyon walls create one of Morocco’s most dramatic natural landscapes. Enjoy time to walk and take photos. Continue toward the Sahara, passing through Erfoud and desert towns. In the afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll begin a camel trek into the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Ride across the sand as the sun sets, then arrive at your desert camp. Enjoy dinner, traditional Berber music, and a peaceful night under the stars. Wake early to admire the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return by camel or transfer to the lodge and begin the journey toward Fes. Pass through Rissani, the palm groves of Tafilalet, and the scenic Ziz Valley. Stop in the Azrou Cedar Forest, where you may see Barbary macaques. Continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains and arrive in Fes in the early evening. Drop-off at your accommodation or the nearest accessible point. End of service in Fes
